The Future Belongs to Human Imagination
I hear the alarm clock making noise. It’s 7.00 in the morning. I stretch my arms above my head, yawn, swing my legs over the bed and start wobbling.
First thing that comes in mind. What do I have to do today? Immediately my brain switches to task, to-do list.
I wish that is something I could switch of!
I know there is a reason my mind feels full strangely empty at the same time.
A reason my attention feels scattered. even when I’m doing everything “right.”
A reason I can move through an entire day
and still feel like you haven’t arrived anywhere inside myself.
I feel exhausted even before the day started jet.
In the corner of my eye I see a book waiting a long to be read.
‘ shall I?”
No, No, I can’t duty calls.
Later I will read it, make time for it. How many times you have said that. It’s lying there for months now.
I step up, same routine every morning, bathroom, breakfast, and run out of the door. Always in a hurry.
I can’t concentrate, my eyes hurts from looing for 8 hours behind the computer.
My head is spinning: How many of my thoughts today were reactions?
A constant stimulation.
Emails,Messages,Tasks,Scrolling,Responding,Fixing,Adjusting,Managing?
It feels I ‘m surviving the present moment without ever stepping outside of it.
For a moment I imagine myself to read that book tonight.
Something has to change.
I rush home, make a quick dinner. Make a cup of tea, ran upstairs grab the book hop on the sofa and start reading.
I lost track of time, something magical happens
The world stops telling me what to see.
There is no algorithm here.
No recommendation engine.
No “next video.”
Only me and a sentence.
And in that moment That sentence becomes a room. That room becomes a landscape. That character becomes a feeling I recognize from my own life. I’m in that story, participating.

My whole body reacts, happily. Ohh I mist that feeling.
I start laughing ‘ reading is not passive’ It’s my brain gym’
This is why books survive, centuries, for the human mind to catch itself
Because the future will not belong to those who consume the most information on a computer or with AI.
It will belong to those who can still generate meaning from it.
Those who can still sit in silence without rushing to fill it.
Those who can still read a page, and hear their own thoughts again.
Those who can still imagine a life, before it becomes real.
That is what FUTURE ME has always been about.
How about your morning pages? How does it look like? Mine changes…
